looks like you forgot to add /s tag to your comment :swh

But what about the people who aren't idiots and can read sarcasm without the /s? I reflexively downvote ever comment I come across with a /s. People aren't idiots until you treat them like one.

But what about people who are in different parts of the world and don't inherently understand your meaning? That is terrible behaviour to downvote the notation.

Text is notorious for not conveying context. Sarcasm can easily be seen as serious by some people, why is why we have the /s notation to make it obvious.

People aren't idiots, they come from different backgrounds, locations, languages, and all use English as a common tongue. Have some consideration and stop thinking you are so big and clever.

The best sarcasm is exactly the one where it could be interpreted as written and people misreading it is part of the fun. If you are going to add sarcasm marks to make sure that absolutely everyone gets what you are intending then whats the point of using sarcasm in the first place instead of clearly writing what you mean?

you may be confusing it with deregulation.

only lawyers care what the laws say. I care about what's right and good and leads to prosperity for people I care about (which is to a greater or lesser extent everyone)

It's the lawyers job to make the laws align with some version of the above, and many of them, like most other people with power in society, are doing a willfully terrible job of it

This is not correct. It's a politician's job to make them selfrich by any means necessary. It's a lawyer's job to make you pay for as many hours as possible.

correct - "a" lawyer. a single lawyer is but a cog in the machine. Lawyers as a whole, as an institution, however are at least ostensibly supposed to exist for some benefit to society. They, like other institutions, must act to prevent principal agent problems. And like other institutions, they are failing dramatically

I personally never met her but Bet365 is one of the most protected sites on the internet when it comes to antibot protections. When I started my company in 2025, I had two customers from UK, they were very much interested in odds for horse races from bet365, mostly realtime. Bet365 knew I was coming for them.

on-ramp and off-ramp were the problems of the past. Thanks to Trump, both worlds have merged together now.

Ive used YOLO26 in one of my projects, It was very easy to train on our custom dataset and also very easy to deploy even on rust with AVX2 support. This model is indeed fast and can be used for almost real time inference.

I bet he lives in Amager because his door looks very similar to mine when I was living in there.

would be cool to have a comparison with tauri.

They really did their best comparing it with other tools here https://docs.deno.com/runtime/desktop/comparison/

RE: Tauri not having cross-compile... There's a GitHub action that compiles for Linux, Windows, and Mac. So practically it does have it, just not out of the box.

Practically that's just the ability to generate binaries for more than one target. "Cross compiling" is specifically that ability without having to invoke a separate external environment to get the additional targets.

If cross compiling were really just about the result rather than the means, what would the difference be between that and normal support for multiple targets?

Hadrian's Gate

just switch to Rust.

money and credit are different things. EU has credit.
